The Beats was born in 1987 thanks to its two founders, Patricio and Diego Pérez.  In the year 1996, it was recognized as THE BEST BEATLE BAND IN THE WORLD by the Beatles Annual Convention from London and Liverpool. They have been praised by Allan Williams in England (first manager of the Beatles) who said: "They sounded even better than the Beatles when I took them to Hamburg" and Alistair Taylor (Brian Epstein’s personal assistant) who said: "It looks as if the Beatles were born again". Furthermore, they were recognized with important articles in the British newspapers Daily Post and Liverpool Echo.

They were proud to represent Argentina once again in the "Rose Festival" in Hiroshima, Japan (Festival to commemorate the anniversary of the Atomic Bomb, May 1997), playing for ten thousand people, and appearing on television, newspapers and the radio. This Eastern tour was completed in the most important theatres in Kyoto, Ibara, Sapporo, Osaka, among others. They traveled back to England in August 1997, to launch the “Beatles Revival Show”, a show about the evolution of The Beatles represented by The Beats in the Empire Theatre of Liverpool.

After the success achieved in their prior visit, they came back to Japan in October 1997 to make a one month tour travelling around Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuyama, Ibara, Kyoto and Tokyo, performing in the most important theatres of those cities. That same year they launched the “Beatles Revival Show" in Argentina, in the “Astros Theatre” in Corrientes Avenue, using more than twenty instruments from their personal collection, original equipment and exact clothing, respecting each of the stages of the English quartet, and performing five more times, due to the request of the audience.
"Here are The Beatles" was the title given to the show launched in 1998 in the “Broadway Theatre” of our capital: a complete journey throughout all the stages of the four Liverpool geniuses, respecting the same sound of the original recordings together with string and wind instruments.
The same year, they were invited again as guests of honour to the "Beatles Annual Convention" of London and Liverpool performing in L.I.P.A (Sir Paul McCartney auditorium), Strawberry Fields and Liverpool Cavern Club (Mathew Street), among others, closing the year in Argentina with the show “The Beats 10 years”, in the Broadway Theatre.

In 1999 they took with great success the show "Here are The Beatles" to the most important theatres of the Atlantic Coast, Gran Buenos Aires and the interior of the country. In June of the same year they released their first CD called “Please, Please Me" produced by Litto Nebbia with the recording company Melopea, including the songs of the homonymous The Beatles’ L.P., carefully respecting all the sounds and musical arrangements of the original recording. That August they travelled to London and Liverpool to perform a show presenting the worldwide relaunch of the album and the film "Yellow Submarine", playing before an audience of more than 80.000 people and presented by Juan Alberto Badía. This show was broadcasted all over the world. In that tour they presented for the first time the show "Beatlemania", in the Royal Court Theatre. In Argentina, it was performed in the ”Gran Rex Theatre”, adding more shows because they sold out, continuing the show in the theatres of Gran Buenos Aires and the Atlantic Coast.
In June, 2000, The Beats performed the show called "Beatles in Argentina", carried out in "Luna Park" stadium, selling out again.  The show "Beatles in Argentina" was also a success in the Atlantic Coast and the interior of the country. This tour continued in Latin America, Ecuador, Perú, Brasil and Punta del Este.

In their fifth consecutive year as guests of honour and the only Argentine representatives in London and Liverpool, The Beats met a new challenge: recording in the original and mythical Studio No2 of Abbey Road, E.M.I. of London (where The Beatles recorded all their songs), being the only band that paid tribute to The Beatles worldwide to record there. They finished this fifth tour with shows in Royal Court, Castle Street and Cavern Club, among others.
In May, 2001 The Beats played the show "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" for the first time in the ”Gran Rex”, presenting their second album called "You Can" with a selection of songs of all The Beatles albums, including the song recorded in  Abbey Road, written by them and giving name to the album.
During that year, The Beats made a tour throughout the country, and in November they presented a new show: “Our Beatles” performed in the most important theatres of Brazil. Due to their success, they repeated the tour in December and May, 2002.
At the beginning of 2003, the “National Symphonic Orchestra” directed by the prestigious Francisco Rettig called them to make a show adapting all the “The Beatles” songs to classical music. The show, performed twice in the ”Gran Rex Theatre”, in which The Beats played with eighty chamber musicians, was acclaimed by the critics and the audience.
After the great success with the Orchestra, they presented the show “A Submarine Trip” performing at the beginning of the tour, as usual, in the “Gran Rex Theatre”. Simultaneously, they launched their third album: “Take one”.

In 2004 they carried out their new theatrical – musical show that was taken to a great part  of Latin America, called “Contemporary”, the show was also performed in the most important theatres of the interior of the country and they sold out four presentations in the ”Gran Rex Theatre”.
In 2005 they released their innovative creation together with their fourth album, both called: “Secret”. The Beats rejuvenated old compositions of Lennon & McCartney almost unpublished up to that moment, that The Beatles never recorded. They took these songs and worked on them to recreate the style that the four Liverpool geniuses would have given to each of them.
During 2006 they presented “Reunion”, this show was successfully taken throughout our country and a great part of Latin America.
In March, 2007, invited by EMI of London, they travelled to Great Britain to finish recording in Abbey Road studios their fifth album called “Masterpiece”, to pay tribute to the 40º anniversary of the recording and launch of The Beatles’ album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”. During their stay in the United Kingdom, they filmed the show that was presented during 2007 ”England For You” that included a documentary completely made in England, in which the artists appeared visiting the different places that were part of The Beatles’ history.
This year, THE BEATS brought exclusively, to our country, the original drummer of The Beatles: “Pete Best” to their first show called “Historic” presented in the “Gran Rex Theatre”. They sold out in Argentina and they made a tour in Brazil in twenty cities performing more than twenty shows.
